Corvus Gold Expands Mother Lode Mineral Resource Potential to the West & Southwest, Drills 36.6m @ 2.03 g/t Gold & 25.9m @ 2.43 g/t Gold (including 18.3m @ 3.3 g/t)

Vancouver, B.C… Corvus Gold Inc. (“Corvus” or the “Company”) - (TSX: KOR, OTCQX: CORVF) announces it has received positive results from four additional holes targeted on the western and southwestern extension of the Mother Lode deposit (Table 1).  Results continue to demonstrate the expansion potential of the deposit to the west where mineralization remains unconstrained. Furthermore, Corvus believes that these results have increased the potential for adding a new and higher-grade block to the current mineral resource model as well as outlining new target areas for mineral resource expansion drilling (Figure 1).

In this important Western extension of the Mother Lode deposit, hole ML19-116 (36.6m @ 2.03 g/t gold & 25.9m @ 2.43 g/t gold, as detailed in Table 1 below) has a deep intercept that intersected a dike in the lower plate carbonates, below the main deposit, which like other intrusive related deep intercepts consistently returns +2 g/t gold with broad core zones of +3 g/t gold.  These results continue to outline a deeper, hotter, intrusive related, lower plate hosted, gold system like the deep intercepts in holes ML19-104 (NR19-05, Mar. 19, 2019) with 16.8m @ 4.4 g/t gold and the bottom of hole ML19-109 (NR19-06, Apr. 3, 2019) which ended in 4.1 g/t gold, and will be the focus of the next round of exploration at Mother Lode.

Jeff Pontius, President and CEO of Corvus, said, “The results from the West Zone are encouraging for the expansion to the initial Mother Lode mineral resource to the west.  Additionally, results from hole ML19-116 continue to show higher grade at depth below the main deposit and suggest a deeper and hotter style of gold mineralization that may be analogues to the “litho-structural” style of mineralization being pursued by AngloGold at its Silicon discovery, a few kilometres to the north of Mother Lode.  Corvus continues to study this new style of mineralization to integrate it into its District exploration model.  Results from the Mother Lode, phase 3 mineral resource expansion drilling are nearly complete and drilling has now moved to testing priority “New Discovery” targets at the neighbouring 100% owned North Bullfrog project where early geologic indications are encouraging.  As Corvus continues to unravel the key controls on gold mineralization in the District, we believe that the potential for new deposits continues to grow in this re-emerging Nevada Gold District.”
